The HENRICHS restaurant is located on the first floor of the ironworks. Guests can enjoy impressive views of the historic hall from inside its glass-enclosed gallery.

Whether you are having lunch, an exquisite full-course dinner or simply a coffee after visiting the museum, HENRICHS invites you to relax and enjoy culinary delights. With Mediterranean-German cuisine, rotating lunch menu and a selection of wines, cocktails and long drinks, HENRICHS opens for guests at midday.

Directions

Arriving by car

Take A 43 to the “Witten-Herbede” exit, then Blankensteiner Straße towards Hattingen;
Follow signs for ‘Route der Industriekultur’ (Industrial Heritage Trail) and ‘LWL-Industriemuseum’ (LWL Industrial Museum).

Arriving by bus and train

S-Bahn: From Essen Central Station (Intercity stop), take the S3 to Hattingen-Mitte (travel time approx. 19 minutes, runs every 20 minutes). Cross the footbridge to reach the bus station. From there, continue by bus (see below).

Bus: From Bochum Central Station, take bus line 350 or SB 37 (‘Henrichshütte’).

From Hattingen Mitte (bus station), take bus line 554 (‘Industriemuseum’), SB 38 (“Werksstraße”), 350 or SB 37 (‘Henrichshütte’)
From Witten: SB 38 (‘Werksstraße’)
From Ennepetal: SB 37 (‘Henrichshütte’)

At Hattingen-Mitte bus station, take S-Bahn line S3 towards Essen/Oberhausen.

Arriving by bicycle

You can reach Henrichshütte via the following cycle paths:

Henrichshütte is junction no. 86 and part of the Industrial Heritage Cycle Route. You can find cycling routes  and download the app from the Ruhr Tourism website. Henrichshütte is the starting point of the ‘From Ruhr to Ruhr’ cycle route.

Take your dog to the museum

Dogs on a leash are allowed at the cashier’s desk and in the outdoor area – except for the playground area. Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed in the buildings.
