We come to you. Our visit to your location focuses on work and life in the Ruhr region, using the Henrichshütte as an example. We invite you to engage in sensory recollection and exchange, and we bring things with us. We invite our participants to join in and share: feel free to unpack your own story! It will be a sensory experience: feeling, touching, hearing, smelling, trying things out, or simply observing. Whatever each person wants and is able to do. With the help of the participants' sensory memories, interactions between them will develop and storytelling and exchange will be encouraged.
educational team.

Note:

You are welcome to discuss specific topics and special requirements with us when registering. We bring objects that can be held, touched, felt, heard, and smelled. Participants are welcome to bring a piece of their own history with them: we welcome favorite objects, photos, and stories. We work in a dialogical manner.
Sounds, smells, objects, or photos can also trigger negative memories and emotions. Therefore, please consider the biographical background of your group and, if necessary, share this information with the museum education team.
