The highlight of the presentation in the museum foyer is a digitally animated, three-dimensional model of the ironworks. It vividly illustrates the processes of iron and steel production, from the handling of raw materials, transport and charging to iron smelting in the blast furnace and processing of pig iron in the steelworks. Video animations and multilingual audio recordings provide in-depth information. 

The museum is breaking new ground with its life-size AI avatar ‘Andi’. He is always ready to answer questions and share his knowledge with visitors.

Visitors are also encouraged to get involved in the workshop area, where they can build, observe, write and talk.
